Everybody's a comedian

For me, one of the best things about being a parent is when my kids deliberately say or do something to make me laugh, especially when they succeed.

A couple of weeks ago we were having dinner at the local RSL club and I asked the kids what they wanted to drink. I thought I might get a laugh by saying "You can have lemonade, lemonade or lemonade" but my eight year old daughter outdid me by asking "What was the second one again?"

good one!

I'll never forget the day I asked my daughter: "Can you say, European"
..she replied by saying, "I'm a Peeyan" :)

Haha. "I'm a peeyan" is hilarious.

But my wife gets annoyed when she says "Tell me you love me" and I say "You love me".

hmmmmm, I wonder why??!! ;D

I love the way kids look at things very simple and honest....when my oldest was three, my hubby and I were going to watch the then new Disney movie, The Jungle Book. (oh, does that 'date' me?!)

Anyway, we were 'arguing' in front of the 3ryr old whether the lead actor, Brendan Lee, was related to Bruce Lee. We were bantering back and forth, when my hubby finally asks rather loudly, 'well, which Lee is he??' to which my daughter, who had been silently listened to our debate, answered without missing a beat...., 'well, Daddy, he's MowgLee'
