Recently I've bumped into a few people who have said things like "I've been reading your blog and I think it's great." which is nice because I always hope to write things that people find entertaining, but for some reason, very few of my posts have attracted comments from readers. So whenever I post something here I never know who has read it, or even if it has been read at all.
So I'm asking everyone who reads this post to click on the "comments" link below and let me know that you are there. You don't have to have a Blogger account to leave a comment, and all you need to say is something like "Hi, this is Marty in South Australia". Feel free to plug your own blog if you like. If you want to remain anonymous, please at least tell me where you live.
I have a mental list of people that I'm hoping/expecting to hear from and most of them don't know each other, so it could be interesting for you to see who else reads this blog aside from yourself. I would also be interested to know if there is anyone reading this who doesn't know me personally. So come on, don't be shy. Take a minute to introduce yourselves and let me know that I'm not just talking to myself.
Thank you.

I'm here for you, Marty. My own blog I've neglected going on 2 months, but I'll be back.

Thanks Karen.
I knew I could count on you.
Hi Marty
This is only the second time I've checked you out - lifts my spirits. Johanne
Hi Johanne,
Nice to hear from you, although I'm sure you were checking me out when I saw you at the place near the thing where we went that time.
Marty.
Hey Big Bro,
Haven't been on for a while, don't get time anymore!!! ...keep it up tho! I agree with Johanne it is spirit lifting
Love you,
Anne XXX
Hey Little Sis,
Thanks.
Say Hi to your hubby and kids for me.
Love you too.
Marty.
Hi Marty,
It's Tamsyn here *wave*
Long time no see. Doing well in Adelaide, though work's a bit overwhelming at the moment I hope that once I get a bit more used to it it'll be easier. They're a great bunch, I like them =). My flatmate's great too.
I miss Woomera a little though - it's nice being able to just go out and know I'm going to know people, and they'll talk to me and stuff. I've not been out much here, just with friends. I think I need to get outside of my comfort zone and meet some locals though (Semaphore, Largs, etc).
I'm going to the Semaphore RSL next Sunday for tea. Hope that'll do it. I've been down to the pub on the corner here, some interesting characters there as well =).
Say hi to Biker Chick for me =p.
Take care =)
